THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL
The Executive Council (EC) is the executive and management body of the Association. It is elected in accordance with the voting rules established by the General Assembly. The EC shall comprise of eight Councillors, including the President, Immediate Past President, Secretary-General and Treasurer. In the exercise of its functions, the Council shall represent the Association. The office of the Councilor is honorary, and is exercised in a personal capacity on behalf of the whole membership, rather than as the representative of a particular archive, country or constituency.

In the 9th General Assembly of SEAPAVAA, a new set of Executive Council was elected to serve from 2005 until 2008.
