COMMITTEES
As of recent General Assembly meeting held in Hanoi last April 2004, four committees were formed.

Collection, Promotion and Access Committee
Acts as SEAPAVAA's central reference point for queries relating to collection development and management, promotion of the region's AV archives/archiving, and access issues.

Chair: Kannika Chivapakdee -- Public Relations Department, Museum and Archive, Thailand
Terms of Reference

Technical Committee
Acts as a central point for queries of a technical nature pertaining to the preservation of audiovisual materials.

Chair: Edward Tse -- Hong Kong Film Archive
Terms of Reference

Training and Scholarship Committee
Acts as a central point for queries relating to practical training and professional development across the region.

Chair: Emma M. Rey -- Legislative Archives, Philippines
Terms of Reference

Development Committee
Relate to the long-term strategic positioning and development process within the AV archiving community of SEAPAVAA.

Chairs: Ray Edmondson -- Archive Associates, Australia
            David Boden -- National Film and Sound Archive, Australia
Terms of Reference

Awards and Prizes Committee
Create incentives or awards in the wide advent of SEAPAVAA's field endeavor.

Chair: Currently in interim arrangement with the Development Committee.
